IndiVillage Foundation was born from the communities where IndiVillage Tech employees live and work. What began as local support revealed a deeper truth: talent exists everywhere, but access does not.
Our mission is simple and urgent; to bridge the learning and skills gap in rural India so people can build futures without leaving their communities behind.
Our Story
2019
Launched IndiVillage Foundation to close learning and skill gaps in rural India.
Realized the rural skill gap while creating IT jobs through IndiVillage Tech Solutions LLP.
Started foundational literacy and STEM programs in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Launched youth skilling program to equip rural youth with 21st-century skills and job readiness.
Impacted 5784 participants across 2 states

Akanchha Sharma
An alumna of Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) and Gandhi Fellowship, Akanchha has over 7 years of experience in the domains of education and gender.

Deepa has 5.7 years of experience in the Education sector. She aspires to help the underserved through education and technology by bringing opportunities and helping them to enhance their skills.

An alumni of Pondicherry University with a master’s degree in mass communication, Shafi leads marketing and communications to champion the organisation’s work and inspire people to action.

Raghavendra has 7 years of experience in the development and education sectors, where he worked with various beneficiaries, stakeholders and govt. agencies. He is also a travel enthusiast and food explorer.

Srinivas holds a BSc degree as well as a TTC diploma. With 6 years of experience working in the community in a variety of roles, Srinivas has a niche in program implementation in the field.
